These jets look like someone beat them with the ugly stick !!! I am proud ( and at the same time embarrassed) to say that the one with what looks like toilet bowls on the wings is a design from Poland :D:D[X(] [:'(]

As yes .. the Nimrod. I worked on some of the electronics for her while I was at Marconi. T'was quite an amazing beast.

Even weeks after the project was cancelled, we were still receiving something like 500 design change requests per week. An object lesson in how NOT to control feature creep.

or, is it coyete ugly, the one where you chew off the refuel line rather than take a chance of touching the jet to remove the fuel line.:D or maybe rodeo ugly, look at that baby for a whole eight seconds straight and you are for sure a cowboy.:D barry

i'll tell you what, when it was all grey, i was barely able to see the planes orientation when at distance ... with the new paint job, it was as visible as it gets :D:D

alan, originally i was thinking about that grippen. i thought it was woj's but easytiger emailed me and said it was yours. however, i owe you an apology, woj has clearly the ugliest grippen i have ever seen:D. yours burnt is still better looking. it would be a tough call buy the crashed scraps of yours or woj's ready to fly. i think it will be yours,barry

Lol.. and some of them flew very well!

IMO anything with enough power and a calculated cg can fly.. but in our mind a nice airplane flies better because it is much better to fly a nice airplane! ;)
