thought id show my progress on my ziroli panther in different stages. i just figured out how to post pix. the jet is near done now, took about five months to get it to near paint stage. i have not focused near as much time as i wished on it to get it done quicker. self moulded bypass, doors, tip tanks, and exhaust. nick

Nick,

Looks good! I see you've seen the need to carry some of the fuel behind the CG. Most guys haven't done that in the Panther, but I had Gary Mueller of JetTech make me a nice set of saddle tanks that hold 24 oz. each and fit in the same spot you added yours. There is also a 94 oz. main tank in mine as well. I think that distributing the fuel across the CG will make it easier to get off the ground with full fuel.

I'm working on the turbine mounting and such in mine this weekend and I'll post some more pictures of the results on Monday...

Yea, I wasn't planning on quite that much, but the 96 oz. tank is really quite small, and with a P-120, 140 oz. should give me nice long flight times to show off! :p

Hello,

Sorry about your camera loss.

I like your Ziroli Panther.
How did you cutted the fuselage ribs for it ??

I also brought a plan for it from G.Bertella, Italy.
It is not exactly the scale, so I thinking about Ziroli one,
before I start the construction.

How well are designed the Ziroli plans for the Panther ?

Looking forward to to see your Panther website updated.

Best regards,
Kristijan Kljucaric

the panther is pretty scale from ziroli. things need to be incorporated for scale masters scale, like speedbrakes and inner flaps. the plans are awesome, and creating your own accesories to finish like tip tanks makes it even more fun. i got the short kit from jesse at lazer-works.com. i was the first to have him vector the plans so now you can get the kit for alil less than i paid which was dirt cheap anyways. hes a great guy and the craftmanship is AMAZING. have fun with the jet if you build it, good luck. nick
