NEW Comp-ARF UltraLightning!!
 

Guys,

The new UltraLightning has also been unveiled. Newly shaped fins, tail and wings. The larger sleeker wings lower the wing loading and upgrades to these new parts for the existing Lightnings will be available.

The new UltraLightning kit will also include a new improved fuselage with larger ducts for bigger turbines!

As with the A4, more info as Florida Jets!

That looks great! The wing tips are swept like the Spark.
Maybe a Super Spark is in the works too!
Florida Jets will be good, can't wait.

Maybe they could sweep the fin back, change the cockpit and find a new name. Something to rival Ultra Lightning? Maybe Flandit?

WOW, really trying to compete with the real Ultra. Although I must admit Carf will never be equal to a true BV machine. They should have chose a different name, but I think the fun little jabs are still going on (ie the "Faster than Lightning" decals on some real Ultra's)

Looks like the new one finally has true flaps - look close at the pics & you'll see a seam at the flap/aileron. I think the fin should stay as is for best knife edge flight (like BV's big & small bandit standard fins) Not pretty but functional. Hopefully a P180 is what the new design had in mind.

I like flying my current Lightning, but there were quite a few bugs to be worked out. I'll be interested to see if these are "corrected" in the new one.

Looks like the Velox type wings are showing up on all their planes.
I agree the worst part of the Lightning/Flash's looks are the canopies, especially where the hoop is, ie., too far back. I've been considering removing the hoop from my Flash.

Yes they can! Wings, tail and, I believe, fin/rudder will all fit the original Lightning.
