Sara,
After building the kit at home, do we have to send it back to Wren HQ to have it balanced ? I'm asking the question as sending this engine by insured mail is very expensive. Thanks. |

No, there has never been a requirement to send Wren kit engines back for balancing. The shaft and turbine are pre-balanced and a final balance is not necessary.

It was intended as a 28 pound, 120-type engine to fill the gap in our range between the SuperSport and XL200 but it's gone over the spec - though you could always turn it down ... I should have the first Wren 160 here in 3 weeks, work is underway on finishing the manual, packaging, acquiring the accessories....ect.

Assembled with factory warranty $3750.00 All parts will be stocked here, so repairs and spares are no longer a problem. More to come..... |
