changing brands of oil.....

I have run BP-Exxon 2380 exclusivly, but now i was just handed 5 quarts of aeroshell 500. any problems with my next 5 batches of fuel being an aeroshell mix? after that i will go back to 2380 as it is easy to get locally. jetcats if it matters.

thanks for the input.

RE: changing brands of oil.....

Kirk,
Most turbine manufacturers recommend turbine oil qualified to MIL-PRF-23699.

Aeroshell is so qualified, and recommended by JetCat. See page 11 (Fuel/Fuel Care section) of the JetCat manual.

Don't get skunned with the oil. Do your homework and you will find that the oil is the same, 99%, and will do just fine. I look for the price. If the numbers are good, no matter the name, the price is right, then that's what I get.

TEEBOX, is not recommendable to use EXXON 2380, he carbonizes, and you have risk to obstruct the injectors and manifold.
You have many other post about this topic.
