ORIGINAL: josecilurzo HELLO EVERYONE, I HAVE A DOUBT, IS THERE ANY PROBLEM TO USE LONG EXTENSIONS ( ABOVE 60' ),................. i use 22awg wire on all my extensions and i make them whatever length is required for a neat installation without a second thought about length although I've never had an RC jet that required 60 feet ( ' = foot " = inch )of extension :) but i have had them over 60" |
RE: SERVO EXTENSION
To prevent any losses, I have always used 20 gage for all my extensions..... So Ican't give you a comparison with 22 gage wire performance.

The best one I got is this 39" 20g silver multi wire with soft silicone coated.
Is good wire. But the connector is Futaba. You can trim it to fit JR. http://www.tamjets.com/original/prod...roducts_id=391 |

Using a good quality cable, twisted and high quality connectors should be fine. I use a twisted silicone German made cable and high quality JR connectors to make all my cable runs, been good so far.
