i use 22awg wire on all my extensions and i make them whatever length is required for a neat installation without a second thought about length although I've never had an RC jet that required 60 feet ( ' = foot " = inch )of extension
but i have had them over 60"

The best one I got is this 39" 20g silver multi wire with soft silicone coated.
Is good wire. But the connector is Futaba. You can trim it to fit JR.

Using a good quality cable, twisted and high quality connectors should be fine. I use a twisted silicone German made cable and high quality JR connectors to make all my cable runs, been good so far.
