Avia S-92
Hi every one.
I wanted to share some pictures of my current project: the Grumania Me-262. The plane was presented here about one year ago: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_8271609/tm.htm I have chosen the scheme for this one: the early prototype "PL-01" as presented out of the factory in 1946. The plane was in an "out of production line" bare metal condition in the following pictures and got painted in gull grey a few months later. I' d like to thank the Museum of Techniques of Praha for providing the scale material. http://www.geohei.lu/olin/photos/Hob...eft%20back.jpg http://www.geohei.lu/olin/photos/Hob...er%20right.jpg And the model: http://www.geohei.lu/olin/photos/Hob...24_web_raw.jpg http://www.geohei.lu/olin/photos/Hob...27_web_raw.jpg http://www.geohei.lu/olin/photos/Hob...30_web_raw.jpg http://www.geohei.lu/olin/photos/Hob...33_web_raw.jpg Contrary to the previous project, this one will be finished in a fairly good aluminium condition. I will just add a very subtle tone of weathering/corrosion to match the very good condition of the subject at the time of delivery. |
RE: Avia S-92
I will follow up the Flite Metal covering on Ed's website.
When the project will be finished, I will of course submit the third part of the RCJI article. |
RE: Avia S-92
olnico, Grumania makes some fine products, and the 262 has always been one favorite models. We make a small composite 262 for 65 mm to 76 mm fans and I have 3 Large 90 mm 262s. Good luck on your Grumania 262.
