I found a good deal on a Kyosho Armour (Hummer body) Its new with 2 servos, KoPropr pds, KoPropo ps-401, Airtronics MX3 75 mhz. control for $400, but I was looking for a Mad Force. So whats the difference? Ohh yeah, these do make good rock crawlers?

Hell yeah, so thats a good deal then?
Anyone know about these things? I've taken everyones advice and looked at what "I" want in a truck and its a Rock Crawler because I do it in real life (To a point) and I love it. How do the straight axles handle on RCs?

I love the XTMs suspension, but is it reliable? I see people selling them for T-Maxxs
Reason why is I found a used XTM for CHEAP I mean $150, but its used good as hole in exhaust and bad scratches. Just wondering.....
Or could I buy a new 4 link chassis for the Kyosho?

The difference between Mad Armor kit and the Mad Force is that the Mad Armor has a Humvee body, different sticker set, and longer rear dogbone. Other then that they are the same!

Doesn't the Kyoshos MadForce/Armour run faster than the T-Maxx and even though its 2-link wouldn't it still out flex independent suspension? So it could actually be the best of both worlds?

The Mad Force is very durable. I've had mine for about 8 mths and really havent had any problems. Parts are hard to find locally b/c it's not the most popular. So when you order parts just get 2 if you break it. As far as speed goes. Not faster then the Maxx out the box. All I can tell you is when I first got mine I went to a local track to see if it could keep up with the maxx and once thrid gear kicks in I think the question is answered rather quickly. I think RCCA had it at 43mph out the box which I believe was the fastest in the shoot out mag. But correct me if I'm worng. Either way upgrade the engine and forget about it. All I have is a 8p in it now and it's really fast. and will wheelie for a block. Take it from a owner of one. This truck is a great buy. Add some New Era parts and it's a piece of work.

Elway - but you are selling it, so you aren't gonna be using it! This way, it won't break, and you can always go back...just a thought...
I think they could have designed the steering geometry better on the Mad Force line, but other than that and the plastic sprocket, it should be fine. www.rcalloys.com makes a lot of stuff for the Mad Force. Check them out...

Yes the stock steering is a bit tricky. But it gets the job done. And if you don't like it the New ERA setup puts the servo at the diff case with plenty of protection.ie XTM truck has this set up. And the differences between the 2 besides the body are longer drive cups to stop the drive shafts from popping out. I'm not sure on this one but I also think the axles are longer to limit steering bind. Check out Mad Force. Net for more info. The truck also climbs really well and Jumps pretty good when dialed in correctly. In stock form a little bouncy. RCCA just did a comparison between this truck and the XTM. Mad Force by a nose mainly b/c it's faster and the Low gear ratio allowed it to pull faster in the Tug of war. Climbing Mad Force bigger tires helped it out. If your thinking about this truck you can't go wrong not to mention the engine is one of the best I'v owned. Reliable is not the word. And very easy to tune.

1. KoPropo pds - 2144 FET
2. KoPropr ps - 401
What do these things do?
Thanks

Not sure about those servos I use Hitech stuff. The truck doesn't come with electrics.
I recomend 645mg good cheap servo to run with.
