Some new toys! (Savage Flux and todays Traxxas Summit)
Well here are a few pix of my new toys.
I bought the Flux about a month ago and the Summit I just got today.
The Flux is already broke, bent the chassis. I am doing a complete XL conversion and have allot of goodies here and coming for it. I love my 1/5's but I missed the bashing of a 1/8.
Here's a vid the Flux and some pix of mostly the Summit.
I still have lots coming for both. These are going to be my Winter projects. Well them and the complete 5B make over.

Here is the gratuitous picture showing the articulation and having to be held up by a beer can.
Applied some decals in this pic.

I can't wait to see your projects proceed! Are you still running nitro at all, or just gas and electric? In other words, what's in your fleet right now?

Just gas and electric.
Just sold my 5T about a week ago. I have the 5B, MCD Baja 1000, Flux, and the summit. The summit won't get much besides what you see. The flux is going to some love though.

I have pretty much flushed through my entire nitro collection at this point. Just the XXL and one 1/8 scale buggy for racing.
I don't believe that you will keep the Summit stock. I don't think that you believe that you will keep the Summit stock! You know you are going to put a brushless system in there sometime...

Xxl brushless conversion
Um as for going brushless I will when Castle releases a water proof system. I bought this for something to run in the winter and not have to worry about. I just wish it would snow already. Between the Summit and my WRX winter is a good time.
