oh.....whoops didnt know that LOL what seems to be your problem with your T-maxx maybe I or anyone else can help
My friend had an e-maxx and my friend and i both had nitros and he would charge his batterys for 30 mins and only get around 10 min of run time where my friend and i ran twice as long.
In the long run i dont think its worth it. Once you get your engine running good you'll love it

dont let him discourage you from electric! its fun batteries will last alot longer than the fuel u go through anywyas, plus they are reusable. it all ends up costing the same if you look at the long term. Team Orion makes a set of packs specifically for the emaxx also. Duratrax makes a charger that will charge both also at same time. Go for electric, i loved my emaxx and miss it every day... I have a Nitro Terra Crusher now and love it though so...
