Default teeth and gears Question?

Hello,

I think there is already a thread about this, but i think he was asking something else.

if you have a lower amount of teeth on the pinion (the one on the engine shaft right?) you get more power right? so in turn more will give you speed?

is it the same for the spur gear (the one off the gearbox right?)?

what is the lowest and highest you can get for both on the T-maxx?

Thanks,
Larry

Default More on the clutch bell and less on the spur gives you more speed!

I think it's 2.5mph per tooth higher you go on the clutch bell but, I am not sure on the spur??

Default teeth and gears Question?

and so if you had lower teeth on the clutch bell then you get more power and less speed, right?

i just wanted to know because me and my friend both have the new tmaxx (i'll be getting the 2.5 in a few days) so we'd most likely be the same, so if i get high clutch bell then i'd win.

does anyone know about the spur gear?

Thanks,
Larry

Default teeth and gears Question?

if you go more teeth on the clutch bell you go faster if you go less teeth you go slower but have more bottom end torq.the oppaset on the spur gear more teeth make you go slower and more torq less teeth make you faster so for speed you whant to put more teeth on the clutch bell and less teeth on the spur gear and the oppaset for most torq
