so far im very happy with my sportmaxx break-in was a dream and i couldent be happier with it i hit a rock at a little less than full throttle and no broken part i got the golden horison cooling head and droped it about 20 degrees or so. The 2.5 IMO is an excelent motor.

Very nice looking truck. I really enjoy mine as well. Just buy a couple extra blue wires for the glow plug. I also split fuel tubing and put it around mine.

well the super glue didnt quite hold. so im gonna use that stronger glue dunno what its called altho i have it and try just to have it hold till monday.
ive always said id never own t-maxx i guess i wont ever o and now it doesnt wheely after i put the 4WD in but when it was only 2wd and i put my new head on kinda for got but the head gasket and that really made it scream but 4wd = nowheelys. but then i dont really want it to.
im looking for a better clutch and am wondering what one to get? i was thinkin like a 3shoe, is the stock one a 2 shoe. The one on there now slips alot when goin slow. Are the aluminum ones worth getting if so where? thanks a bunch

For the price they are asking I would not even concider it man, you can pick up a complete front and rear bulkhead set from american machine for that price, not only that but they are twice as strong!!

I wouldn't put a 21 conversion on a T-maxx, I dont think it is worth the money the 2.5 is good. When it gets bad or you want a new engine buy the Sirio .18 I have it and it is awsome. I have the Dynamite fail safe and it is good. It is a must have in my opinion.

I would not recomend changing to alum bulkheads because they are designed to break if you pu alum bulkheads the screws will constantly get loose and they will eventually break off inside and they will be garbage just like mine ! some parts are just made to break that way you do not break up the whole truck besides they are only like $10 you could break 10 sets before you spend the same money on alum that is if you like to drive your truck and not just look at it!

First of all it would take twice as long to retap holes then two chang two sets of bulkheads and besides they are only so thick
and once you drill out the screws and retap tere will be no side wall left for the screw and they will become just as weak as plastic!

" T-maxxed out" I dont know what you are talking about the BUlheads dont break that often I have had my truck for 10 months and I only broke 2 Bulkheads. I dont think that is to bad. Actually only one really broke the other was only cracked.
