Here is what I know about it so far:
It comes with a huge cooling head. Four massive tires, an extended chassis, and an engine mount. It is supposed to be a complete replacement kit. The engine is a type of airplane engine and is full of torque. My source was at a trial test not to long ago and said it was full of torque. This set up is not actually made for speed. Its made for the rugged dirt and major back yard cliff climbing mud slinging weekend warrior truck running!!
s of power!!

That looks sweet. That will have to rip if you can get a tranny to hold up. But personally I am waiting for the Briggs and Stratton conversion lol. Kolher would not be bad either.

The torque would be cool, but most airplane motors of this displacement turn in the 15-20k range tops, unless you're talking pylon racing motors, and they're damn expensive and really only run well WOT. HP? typically ~1.5 - 2. This probably isn't going to be the "next best thing".

500$ dollars for a conversion kit is way too expensive...your better off buying an ek4 for that kind of money....
and from my experience with the savage this conversion will just turn the savage into a money pit....

Ducted fan motors only run in the mid 20K range. They're also finicky and require massive amounts of cooling and a helluva tuned pipe. Heli's are about 17 - 18,000. 30 - 40,000 from a 46 ain't doable.

A 46 won't wind up to 30k but a 60 might. That however will be an over kill. DF engines are tough to deal with and have more wear than a heli engine. In my post I did mention I was thinking of putting a .46 Thunder Tiger heil engine on my MAXX. I have the engine in my Century Falcon 46 chopper.
