different T-MAXX models

Default different T-MAXX models

My T-Maxx has a 3.3 motor, black tranny , and a 12 inch wheel base also the slipper clutch has the red plastic dowels. what model is it?

First, stop posting the same question all over the place. Btw, this would be the correct section, the electric off-road section would not.

Second, just go to Traxxas.com and have a look at the pictures and specs of the different models of TMaxx. I can't tell you exactly what you have without pictures. These trucks have been updated over the years and parts can be mixed and matched, how b@st@rdized yours is can't be determined without pics. I can tell you no TMaxx ever came with a 3.3 and a black trans. You could have a Classic 2.5 with a 3.3 on it (most likely scenario), you could have an older 12in wheelbase 3.3 that someone put a black trans in. The difference between the two examples in the last sentence is the diffs, all the driveshafts, the color of some of the plastics and a few other things. Go to Traxxas.com, look at the pictures/exploded views and compare to your truck, specifically driveshafts, diff cases (2 screw outer case or 4 screw) that'll tell you what you need to know.
