RE: which 24.7 for the T?
You can use either style shaft in the T-Max....it depends on what kit and or clutch nuts etc you have. I prefer SG shaft engine, its a stronger more acurate set-up.
I don`t know about the Mach .26, but I have had a 24.7 for over 2 years now !, it has swallowed over 50 liters of fuel and just will not die !...its still going strong, first it was in a T-Max and now in my buggy.
If you are planning to install that sort of power in a T you better have some serious cash lying around to beef things up !... you will rip the T a new a-hole with-in tanks. Basic must have upgrades would be 3 shoe clutch, slipper system, CVD`s, "high-end" tranny gears, pri fwd input&output and then also the 2-speed input gears, and major diff up-grades....very expensive it shall be.
I would suggest(here we go ! ) that you not try to run a high end .21 in a T-Max, if you don`t have all of what I lisetd above already you will find that you could buy another whole RTR(or whatever) R/C for LESS money than all that gear will cost you.
I bought a 1/8th scale buggy for less than the diff upgrades ALONE would cost ! whats a better deal !
