Yah, why is it that the bigger the tires the slower the car and the worse the handling?
Im just wondering?
Please respond!

it wont handle all that bad with a better servo. It will accelerate slower, or if you gear it right reduce top speed, because they are much heavier than stock. They will severly increase your off-road ability and offer you way more tire choices though. I would start with 2.2 truck tires if you need bigger tires, if there too small get max sized ones. And why did u buy 2 rustlers and set them both up the same way? sounds like a waste of money.

Damn if you can just answer his question it would be cool! He's experimenting and playing with the hobby which is what it's all about. If you didn't know the answer or what parts he needs then don't post you're not helping. I don't know either so i'am gonna go back to my corner and
suck my thumb now hahahahahaha.

www.maximizer.com goto adapters on the top, goto stampede adapters, and order them. You will also need some max wheels and tires too.

kool, those look great for my car! I would get them but, are you sure that those will fit the Electric Rustler? Beacause there for the NITRO stampede. If it were the Electric Stampede I would know they would fit. But since its the Nitro Stampede I don't know.
Do you know if those will fit from the Nitro Stampede to the Electric Rustler?

Super Rusty, are you serious? Why would he pay for them??

The Nitro Stampede has a different front hub setup. Instead of having a 'live" axle riding on bearings or bushing inside a hub carrier like the electric Stampede, the Nitro has a "dead" axle, meaning it has bearings or bushings inside the rim, and they ride on the axle. Same with the electric Rustler and electric Stampede.
The Evader is totally different then the Stampede or Rustler. The universal's are different diameter then the Traxxas stub axles, and the front wheels are set up like that of the Traxxas nitro trucks. I have run Clodbuster tires on a Stampede which was extended with a Radical Chassis Midwest steel tube frame. It had absolutely no get up and go. Even with it geared 12/90 with a Magnetic Mayhem on 7 cells. I just used it as a show truck. You can try all you want. If you dont mind slop (play) in the wheels, run Emaxx/Tmaxx wheel hexes and then the Emaxx/Tmaxx rims and tires. The stub axles of your Rustler will be smaller then the diameter in the Maxx hex, so it will allow play. In my opinion, it isn't worth it. By the way, here is a picture of my Stampede next to a normal stock Stampede. Good luck finding one of those chassis, they aren't made anymore. I ended up selling it to some ***** who scammed a couple people with it. I wish I knew where it was.

your post is a little conflicting - "Instead of having a 'live" axle riding on bearings or bushing inside a hub carrier like the electric Stampede, the Nitro has a "dead" axle, meaning it has bearings or bushings inside the rim, and they ride on the axle. Same with the electric Rustler and electric Stampede." Please clarify, you said the nitro stampede has a completley differnt hub, then you said its the same as the e-pede and rustler, unless you mean the rustler and e-pede are the same. sorry for any confusion. I own a blackfoot, and i thought it was setup the same as the e-pede. I emailed maximizer and they said the stampede ones would fit on my blackfoot. They said the font is a 14mm hex that accepts bearings, and the rear is a 14 mm hex with the same axle size as the pede.

btw rusty, what esc/motor are you running in each truck? personally what i would do is jack one up a bit, put on some 2.2" truck tires like imex pullers, get a smaller pinion gear, and make a stadium truck that can go over anyting. And with the oter, i would lower it and put slicks on and just keep it as a super wide race car. Another question, does the rustler have a bellcrank steering?

Hey man, English wasn't my best class. LOL I meant that the Nitro Rustler and Nitro Stampede have a front axle that doesnt spin. The Electric Rustler and Electric Stampede have an axle that turns. In the Nitro Stampede and Rustler front setup, there is no hex. Did I clarify a little better or no? LOL

Yeah Rustlers have bellcrank steering. It really helps to eliminate bump steer.
