Thunder quake and other duratrax thread
I want to retry this but people who don't even own them please don't come in and just say duratrax sucks. This can be a place for questions and comments for owners of duratrax vehicles and people who are thinking about getting one. I saw someone else tried to do this and its a great idea but don't just come here to dis on duratrax.

RE: Thunder quake and other duratrax thread
I own an Overdrive ST and had NO problems with it for a year....the only problem is that I want bigger wheels! I have a picture of it with a 'preview' of my 8 shock conversion I'm doing and the stock wheels are way to small. I am thinking about using some T-Maxx wheels but I need some with a really deep off-set because me suspension arms are not long enough or the regular off-set (I think). So does anyone know of any company that makes deep off-set T-Maxx wheels?

CanadianRacer- Arnt there wheels on the Overdrive 2.2 ? You can just buy some new tires. like some IMEX pullers there a little smaller than the T-Maxx tires but are 3-4 times bigger than the tires you hav on now.
AS for me I run a Duratrax Streak ESC. I ran it for 1 year and had NO problems. Except once when I drove my car into the ocean at florida (on an accident of coarse) and the ESC stopped working! But Suprisingly I let it sit on the air conditioning in are hotel and it dried out and still works! I would EXTREMELY reccoment this ESC to anyone who is looking to buy a good ESC that handles down to a 12T motor.
ALSO
I use a full set of duratrax ball bearings! They are even better than RPM Nall bearings. They are literly imposible to blow out and they dont need to be cleaned as frequently. I would recomend those to all people to!

lol...well I'll tell you that the Overdrive is a gas guzzler! I get about 10 minutes if that.....Im also running it rich on the low end needle. As for the speed I don't really know....But it is fast! I could roughly say 45mph. The 2 speed helps alot and the .17 is quite good....never had a hard time starting it. Overall a great truck
