mt2 tuning help please
I think ive finally got it about right, but would like to know how others are running.
How far out are you turning your low and high speed needles?
Also, is there any steel spur gears available yet?
And a tip for those with radio problems. My throttle servo started reversing after the 3rd tank. I would have to power off then on the transmitter and it would work again but only for a few minutes. I recently checked out my batteries and one had corroded somehow after only a week. After replacing that battery my throttle servo is working fine, but i found it easier to leave it reversed when it wasnt working correctly. At least that way it wont take off with no warning.

RE: mt2 tuning help please
I think I am at about three turns out on high speed, dunno though, I havent checked. and low speed is a turn or two in from flush. Idle is still about stock. I am still having a few problems with it running at temp, due to flooding, but that is where mine is set. I havent found steel spur gears, but I don't know how beneficial they would be if they where available. The plastic gears work like a cushion between the drive train and the engine. If you ran steel gears then the drive train or the engine would break under a hard load.

Same. My high speed is at about 3 1/2 turns and low is at 2 - 2 1/2 from flush. Works great.
By the way. Have you clocked yours at 45?

As you know tony, I am still having some issues with my truck. so I am not sure what my top speed has been. I know that I have had it full throttle and it was screamin. I wish I knew someone with a radar gun that could clock it for me, I am curious how fast it really goes.

Same here. Hey listen up. If you pull the carb restrictor out, you will increase speed and be able to wheelie
atleast, thats what I think. Tell me what you think

Yes, there is something in your teeth, it looks like a booger. Just kidding. It should help, it'll increase air flow, so you'll have to richen the HSN. After taking it out, it might not hold a tune as well though.
