HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have gone through at least 30 pairs of cen front and rear stock replacement diff cups in the last month and i just broke my last set[:@]. I e-mailed cen and all they said was somethin else must be out of sink because the stock cups should not break that easy.Does anyone make a stronger allum or titainium set[>:]?what else could be wrong, i know i ain't the only one who has this problem[&:]. is there a cheaper and more permanent solution than buying a $5 set of diff cups every 2 days
?HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been told that CVDs have a tighter fit in the diff cup and that eliminates a lot of the slaping that happens with the stock dog bones. I have one CVD and one dogbone on my truck right now, and I just finished a tear down last week and i noticed that the diff cup with the dog bone was broken and the cup with the CVD was not wearing at all. You can also make a sleeve that goes over the diff cup. NitroMcgyver (spelling?) made up a set, just do a search on here for Cen MT2 diff cups and it should find something on what he did.

I've managed to stop breaking them. I also have a big block too.
here is what I did.
limit suspension travel by putting fuel tube on the shock shaft.( just a little)
put a "o"ring inside each dif cup.
adjust the suspension track so the dog bone is in the center of the cup.
worked for me. I can go 5 to 7 tanks before I change them before they break.
now the dog bone is actually wearing a groove in the cup (like a dremel tool would) but only on the rear. I guess the front doesn't get much of a chance for traction up in the air all the time.LOL!

hey auto2 do you have any pics of it?to be honest i think someone should have made a allum or titainium set , like possibly neweramodels because they have a ton of hopups for the mt2 already so why not this, i would of figured this would have been one of the main hop ups.anyways if you(auto2) have any pics of it could you post them or e-mail them to me? thanks ken
