You dont need spy pics anymore, Losi updated their website. Looks like they have 3 different body styles too. I cant wait to get my hands on one. Supposedly 599???? Who knows. 700??? That would be suicide in the competitive market of today.

first of all what you were saying about unnessary.

you said that 4ws was unnessary yet the LST has it

and besides the fact that its a nice feature the synthasized reciever really isnt that necessary

the LST is gonna be a great truck but you guys really need to stop dissing CEN

This thread is NOT about the CEN, start a thread for that. Or any other truck for that matter. Since when does the LST have 4WS? It uses 2 servos for the front wheels, not 4WS.

it has 2 speeds if I'm correct. As for losi being superior, they hvae done 1 thing no company has decided to do. THEY ARE MAKING ACTUAL 8TH SCALE SHOCKS. These shocks are huge, and the first company to do them correctly. The steering is going to be incredible also with the 2 servo setup! I bet 2 925MG's could move that thing with lightning speed.

This thread isn't meant to dis CEN, so don't bring them here becuase that is what will end up happening. I'll stop there

see that is the thing it will be just as easy.
the tranny is manual, with a low and high range. kinda like the e maxx. but it has 2 speeds for low and high. so it is just like adjusting your 2 speed now

Actually, I have 2 Losi trucks (XXX-T and Mini-T) so I do know that they put out great stuff. However, I haven't had any personal experience with a CEN, so until I see both trucks together, I'll still wonder how they compare.

From the specs on the site it wont be any bigger if at all than the Genisis. But we will have to compair the 4 biggest trucks to see how they stack up against each other. They all are about the same length and width, and are all big. So to try to compair them now without all on a shelf to look at, you wont get a good reading. I'm sure that RCCA will have a shoot out of the top 4 this summer. Then you will know what each truck will do. It looks like the 4 biggest trucks on the market will be..

Untill the latter 2 come out, it will only be speculation as to what truck is the best.

Per the Losi web site they do not mention anyplace that this has 4WS. it does have a total of 4 hears (2 high, 2 low) but not 4 wheel steering. As for the Genesis, the 4WS will be an optional upgrade much like the X-Factor. and will not come out with 4ws. This is because they had problems with the truck wrecking at high speeds with the 4WS.

Very nice design from what I have seen in the new mag. This is a new design from the ground up and this truck is packed with features. For close to $600 not bad.

I've been wanting a 2nd MT for a while now (I have a tmaxx), and I have the money just trying to burn a hole in my pocket. There has been so many cool trucks coming out lately, I haven't been able to decide. I was thinking of the savage 25, then the mgt, then the mammoth, and now the release of the genesis and lst. Everytime something cool comes out, something bigger and better is right around the corner. So today I went to my lhs, and put my name down, I will have the first losi lst that they get.

how are you guys comparing the losi to the genesis? cen has very very good quality and shame on you for saying that cen has lower quaility than duratrax!!!!!!!!!!! and associated,associated cars look so cheaply made. I think all your really paying for is the name. same for losi, all I know is the genesis looks like its going to kill any mt on the market and if the genesis becomes a hit then aftermarket companies will make tons of stuff for it.

The Genesis does look cool, and I had my name on the pre-order, but a non-refundable $70 for a show of faith didn't sound good to me. It didn't sound like a very good show of faith on the distributor's part, so I backed out. The Losi LST just looks so cool. I love the chassis design, everything looks so easy to work on. And the 4 oversized shocks is a brilliant idea, again making the truck easier to work on, and adds a definate WOW factor. I've decide to get the LST over the Genesis. The Genesis with it's TVP chassis looks tough, but hard to work on. And the 10 shock setup, although probably needed, definatly looks like a PITA to work on, and also a little venurable to damage. The Genesis' engine looks cool, but doesn't leave you with any other choice in power plants. Plus my LHS refuses to stock CEN, but they will be stocking the LST and aftermarket parts. Money really isn't a factor for me, so it's LST all the way.
