I got the MIP on board temp guage.
The sensor is too thick to fit all the way into the head cooling fins. It kind of rides on the peaks of them. Is this ok? Should I smash the sensor with pliers and make it fit? OR I could move it to the bottom fin of the heat sink, but the instructions say to put it on the bottom fin of the head.
Where are you guys putting the sensor?

I know that the Venom on board temp guage says to put the sensor on the bottom of the cooling head against the engine block. I am pretty sure that you don't want to smash that sensor, what ever it is it would most likely destroy it. I think your best bet would be to put it where Venom says to put theirs, it may give you a little warmer readings than on the head its self, but you will never overheat your engine.
