Default Newbie starting trouble

Hi,

I've had a Kyosho Nitro Dodge Ram truck, with a Kyosho GS15R engine. The engine was broke in and have been using it for some time. lately I can't seem to get it to start any more. it starts for 1 or 2 secs and then dies. I have changed the glow plug and fuel but it still makes no difference.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Exactly how long have you ran this truck? a few gallons? might be time for a rebiuld or new engine. IF not, your carb may be clogged with foriegn objects (happened to me, did the same thing) or bad fuel, clogged fuel lines, etc, etc.

Are you sure your glow starter is charged? I know it sounds stupid but its happened to me before. My batt wasnt charged and it cranked the engine up but it wasnt able to warm the glow plug up enough to keep the engine running

Well I only have about 1/4 of a gallon ran through the truck. I don't know too much about motors and stuff. When trying to start, she'll catch for a sec, then die. I find that when I take the glow plug out it is wet.

How long does fuel usually last?

Thanks.
