Default Dominator pull start

I brought a used Dominator (OK, it was a midtake).
I went through 2 pull starts in one day. I have installed pull starts before so I don;t think I did something wrong.
Anyway, my question is can I put a roto-start (the starter for a Savage) on a Dominator?
How much redesign work would be required? Has anybody done this?
I know it works great on my Savage.

What caused you to go through that many PS a day?

I have a dom with the PS 4 port and it only started to slip after a few hundred pulls, I found it pretty reliable. But i don't know anything about the roto start on the dom.

Maybe you can tell me the problem and i'll try to help.

Both times it seemed to work fine, then as I was running it I saw the cord trailing behind the car with no tension.

Why not use a starter box?

Just trying to be cheap.
My old starter box died.
Time for a new one, I guess.
Any recommendations?
