Hey guys, I'm new here but have been racing R/C cars and trucks for many years. I just bought a XTM Mammoth. What a beast. I have the truck tuned real nice. I wanted to share how I clocked my XTM going 47MPH. If any of you own a GPS that can track speed, Strap that baby on your truck and let it roar!! I clocked it without my body, so I'm sure I can get to the recorded speed of 52MPH out of it.

I've never clocked mine, but I do know that out of the box, its a beast! I can barely open it up in the neighborhood streets and havent even heard it hit second gear. I probably need to adjust it, buy why because its so fast as is? What a brute.

Huh, no you forget about cen, megatech, smartech and duratrax is pretty underated also. Xtm is farely new and they are not that under rasted now that all these awesome reviews are out on them. XTM x-terminator- great reviews. it won the big buggy bash by rccar magazine. The mammoth has gotten 4 reviews and all are super positive. I dont even have to say anything about the x-cellerator. All super amazing reviews. And the x-factor. Great review by rcca. XTM maybe a little underrated but they are most definetely not underperforing. I gaurantee tha on the track and probably durability- The mammoth would beat the thunderquake. The x-termiantor would beat the axis. And the x-cellerator would beat the nitro evader st

No. not yet. I don't have anyone I could trust driving it. I've had my RC10GT for 8 years, never crashed it. The Mammoth is 2 weeks old. If my GT has a two speed tranny, I think it would beat it...
