MR Thermal why don't you get a life, everytime you start mouthing off you end up getting a thread locked... so do not look and respond with your propaganda at my factual based posts if you can not deal with the truth.
I thought traxxas would get into the 8scale truck market, oh well[]

I would like to see it in person.....you really can't say it is the best or sucks on a 15 second clip. They need to race it with a SUT, LST, MT, Genesis, Mammoth......WOW wouldn't THAT kick *****

The truck looks pretty cool especially the suspension. Looks like it was based on the unlimited off road and desert racer technology. Unlimited wheel travel, well limited by 2 things....the ground......or the fender

There is no fragile about that! The lower arms look a lil fragile and small but i gaurantee up close they arent. ANd they are also supported by those metal bars.

If you buy one and lend it to me I will show you lol To me this design does not look stong enough to run on our 8scale club tracks lol. It has the same dimensions as a elc t maxx, I can see parts breaking and or flying off on this thing at 30+ mph but then again it is not an 8scale machine like all the other products on the market now.

Like I said in another thread, :
Somebody needs to get fired for the choice of engine. People are just gonna toss it for a .21 or bigger; it should have come with something new. It is too new to wear those tired shoes.

RE: Traxxas REVO
Well, from the little bit of promotional information I have been allowed to see (uhhh, I mean website), I personally don't care for it. To me it looks like a lifted stadium truck with monster truck tires. That's not to say it won't be a good truck. That's just my partially informed personal opinion. I'll wait to decide fully until I see one in person.

Well we know Traxxas is a master of marketing and I am still seeeing the same thing with this kit. SO they are pushing this kit as a "racer" and yet you say the kit has 4inches of ground clearance?... WHAT? racer kit needs 4 inches of ground clearance on the race track?
The shock layout is interesting but UNPROVEN! to be better than other designs, case in point, the pillow ball suspension that traxxas brought to offroad trucks came from onroad car tech and has not proven to be better than or even as good C hub designs, thats why you don't see it on all other kits, It can cause more suspension twist than other designs and the ball sockets can get more grit in them over time and make the suspension bind more.
Another good example of Traxxas marketing...don't forget the 2.5 engine which is a fancy way to confuse newbies that it is a .15 small engine NOT a .25+ big engine as most other kits on the market have now.
