Well that doesn't show a whole lot. Kinda wierd that CEN would put out it's first video of the Genesis on the German Cen site rather than the US one............

why would they make a video of the truck not even landing a jump? and they didnt show it wheelie, all they showed it do is ride on the bumper and it could have been placed there. who knows. and the truck was like doing a burnout trying to get up the hill?

You do see it land it's first and only jump, it's right at the left edge of the screen but you can see it. I found that I had to play the vid a couple of time to get it to play smoothly. There was a lot of different scenes shot over a couple of days in this vid and some pretty poor editing. I'm not sure if this is an actual CEN GENESIS vid rather than a pre-production showing that got leaked out. That german CEN site seems more like a fan site/hobby shop site made up to look like the CEN site. If somebody with a little more internet savvy chould check it out I would be interested in finding out who runs/owns that site.

They claimed that the motor being a .46 was a big selling point for this truck. They also claimed that the cost was due to how durable it was built to handle the power. Now lets see a real video, with real bashing, and real power. That truck doesnt look like it will out perform some of todays SMALL block powered trucks. I hope they did a better demo at RCX than what they displayed in that video. I think the body they revealed, and the quality of that video will upset even the biggest CEN fans. Not alot of time went into either of them.

No I didn't see too much in the way of real talent in the body design or the video producing but the truck does seem to have some power just not what I was expecting. I also think that a new vid should be put up somewhere soon if CEN is planning to sell alot of these trucks.

The video wasn't the greatest but it definitely showed that the truck is no slouch. It will be a hot commodity when it hits the stores. For a 20lb truck it was not to shabby.

That vid definately makes CEN look bad. They should get a vid where it makes the genesis look like it acually has some power.

the rcx vid shows that the Genesis has pretty decent power. if that truck weighs 20lbs as has been reported it would take 1 hell of an engine to sky it over that last jump! it's a big truck and no wimpy engine could do that. if you check over at the Wild Hobbies forum the moderator was at RCX and he says that the truck is indeed fast and one tough customer. none of the other manufacturers were even bashing their soon to be released trucks. CEN deserves a little credit for at least running the truck like the average user is likely to run it. besides, that track didn't seem to offer a space big enough to get up any serious speed. i'm sure the video CEN puts out will show a lot more of what we're all waiting to see; speed and bashing.

ha ha I have a genesis and it kicks every one butt I ever ran it with and mine very stock still. Goes over anything and without slowing. The videos they show are junk. You just have to see the thing in action. The only problem I found was that the suspension arms weren't tuff enough but with aluminum upgrades mine bulletproof. Made my buddies revo with good os motor look like kids stuff!!! lol
