Has anybody tried using this stuff from Hot Bodies? Heard anybody who's used it? Or do you think its just another gimmick? Check out this link for more info.

It looks like nothing more than "engine restorer". A "stop-gap", if you will. There is or was(?) a product for fullsize engines that did the same thing, but, it's not an "end-all, cure-all". On fullsized engines, it did help and was considerably cheaper than rebuilding. For RC, if your engine needs to be rebuilt, then it needs to be rebuilt, there's no way around it. As for being a gimmick, I don't think it's a gimmick, except for something else to spend money on.

I have never known HOTBODIES to make bad products... I would use it for a quick fix instead of rebuilding my engine. But remember, a quick fix.

Hmm...odd Their wheels for the MAXX/Savage are total crap, either the hub strips in only a few tanks or the wheel breaks where it connects to the hub...and their chrome...my god it never stays on.

i have heard that "hot bodies" is somehow in company together with duratrash, excuse me i mean dura trax, idk if this is true do any of you? anyways i sort of beleived it when my lhs told me HB and duratrax were together, he then showed me pics of the "hot bodies dirt demon" and the "duratrax nitro quake" and there is like NO difference in design of chassis ans other parts (black plastic parts) at all.[X(]
