Http://xtm.globalhobby.com is a great forum for the xfactor, and anything else xtm makes.

the x-factor is a crawler. practically nothing else. it has unbelieveable articulation and A LOT OF POWER. the 24.7 has the most low end torque i have ever seen. there are aftermarket hop ups for it (hobbtpeople.net) and also with the 8 shock mod you will crawl over anything. might want some new tires if you are competative.

the videos on xtm's site show it going off some 3 or 4 foot jumps, combine that with the video i've seen in the review of it on this site make it seem to be able to do everything......some better than others though. the xtm videos also show it tearing around in reverse but it's not clear if it's an option or not, something about a box that makes a 2 channel radio capable of controlling fwd and reverse.

I use my X-Factor (1) mainly for bashing and some crawling. I have never had problems jumping, its all in the landing. Now it will not jump and land as well as the Savage or others, but the X-Factor definately wins in the looks and power awards.

The Mad Force and X-Factor are similar in that they are both Solid Axle trucks.
Both wheelie like crazy.
The X-factor is a better design for crawling stock since it has a true 4 link while the Mad Force is a torsional 2 link.

The X-factor 2 is actually cheaper then the origanal X. You can get the X-factor 2 RTR for 400 bucks at Hobbytron.com which is actually very cheap. The Mad Force on the other hand ... Is around 650 varies on dealer. But I own an X-factor and owned a Mad Force the are both great trucks but as lax stated the X-factor has unbelievable amount of low end torque, perfect for crawling. The Mad Force and X-factor don't lack any in speed. They're certainly not going to be up in the REVO/Maxx speeds though. I would pick the X-factor over the Mad Force though considering both their prices.

I have one, I'm in the process of installing an E-Maxx tranny. XTM really should offer an electric version.

The X2 is a hybrid - a crawler chassis mated to a nitro engine. Crawlers would rather see electric power, while the nitro guys would rather see a speed-friendly suspension setup.
