Help between the Mad Force and the X-Factor
Can you all help me with choosing between the Mad Force and the X-Factor. The kind of info that I am looking for is durablity, handling, power, and the fun factor as well as where the best place to get one is.
I am looking to expand my collection I now have the CEN MT2. This is an ok truck I just want someting biger and more real looking and thoght of these 2 trucks.

The Mt2 is about as "real looking" as you are going to get. The X-Factor is about as "stupid" looking as you can get. The Mad Force is your best bet.

I know that as for looks the X-Factor is the funniest but as for the solid axle aspect it is more real then the MT2. As for the MT2 I am tired of it not taking a beating.

RE: Help between the Mad Force and the X-Factor
Yeah the X-Factor is better in my mind, it is a true to scale Monster Truck...no one else has one. The Mad Force has a similar design, but it's problems are the over done steering assembly (buy the new era one ASAP if you get it) and the suspension is lacking in both adjustment and articulation.
The X-Factor provides a true to real life monster truck look with its 4 link suspension. Also the X-Factor2 has the option of reverse, the Mad Force does not.
Both are fun trucks, but I think the X-Factor just offers more because it looks true to scale.

i have a mad force. its very nice. lots of fun, it can do mostly anything. crawls over my friends savage ! binaryterror- do you have a mad force cuz my steering is actually pretty good (i am running the stock design). i would buy a mad force over an x-factor. the x-factor is a crawler. the mad force is a crawler and a good basher VERY durable.

RE: Help between the Mad Force and the X-Factor
My X-Factor sees more bashing than crawling and is quite durable.
I do not own a Mad Force, only seen one run. He however had the New Era Steering Servo on axle kit and the New Era Suspension Support rods to make it durable according to him. He said the steering was OK, but there was too much bump steer (i think most RC mags said the same thing about the complex steering on the Mad Force). He also said the front driveshaft fell out alot before he got the New Era Suspension support bars.
For Crawling the X-Factor wins hands down as the stock Mad Force Suspension has very little articulation...you can 4 link the Mad Force though, then it crawls just as well.
The speed is higher in the Mad Force thanks to 1 more gear.
Both trucks are fine works...I just like my X-Factor more, and I'm sure a Mad Force owner would like his Mad Force more...thats just common sense to like what you own (well unless you bought a Genesis [:-])
