NOVA RACE PRO COOLING HEAD
I have to say that I was a little skeptical when I purchased this head. I did not think that it would make THAT big of a difference, probably 10-20 degrees, from the 24.7 stock head. (I have a Mammoth) But I wanted to give it a try.
WOW!!!!!!!!!!! I ran a complete tank w/ the XTM head pretty hard w/ body on and it was 262 degrees. I let the Mammoth cool back down, changed the head to the Nova and ran another tank under the same conditions (i did not change any needle settings and had the body on it and ran it hard). 197 degrees!!!!!! I say again.......197 degrees!!!!!!!! That is a 65 degree difference!!!! I could not believe it and ran another tank through it.....201 degrees!!!!!!!
Point is....these things (Nova cooling heads) ROCK!! Just thought I would share.
