Default RE: tuning for newbies

When tuning start with the high speed needle first. Get the truck up to temp, then take some WOT passes. You should have a light stream of smoke from the exhaust. Your RPM's should climb steadily during the WOT pass. Once thats adjusted go to the LSN. The LSN controls the fuel mixture at idle. Its real easy to tell if that LSN is lean. Start it up, and drive around in a circle at less than a 1/4 throttle. If its lean, you will know it. It will start running eratically, and revving up. If your engine stalls when it starts it could mean alot of things. You could have the wrong glo plug. You could have your idle too low. You could be tuned wrong. Your clutch shoes could be hanging up. Or it could be as simple as you just simply havent warmed up the engine. If our engine is over heating it could also be multiple things. Glo plug could be loose, cooling head could be loose, back plate loose, bad plug, or again running TOO lean.
