I am going to buy a nitro monster truck, and this would be my first one. BUT I DONT KNOW WICH ONE!!!!
I am thinkin savage 25 rtr, gs storm, revo or t-maxx!! the car must be a bit durebility, go fast, start well, and it must be under 450$!
plzzzz help me, i am a newbie!!!!!

I dont own the Revo but I've seen videos of it and it look awsoem!! Extremly durable, fast, and is a good basher and excellent racer. If you dont believe me, watch this....., its awsome!!!!!!

Too my knowledge the revo isnt under 450 $. Your best bet ould be the savage. Decent racer, ultimate basher (stock savage over barns with nothing broke).

I would probly get the Revo out of your choices, Its definatly the better all around truck out of your list, Inless your a 100% basher then i would say the Savage. But you should consider an LST its an awsome truck besides them weak axles.. But there gonna correst those soon.

MAMMOTH fastest truck at 52mph great handiling its got such a wide base this thing like never flips over and bashing wise this truck is awsome i jump mine 10 12 feet in the air everyday only thing that has broke was the shok towers or actually they just beent a little but wit a 60$ upgrade on the shocktowers and the truck is bullet proof, ill compare this truck to other trucks for u ok, savage mammoths alot faster just as durable and cheaper,gs sut the mammoth is faster more durable, revo the mamoth is faster more durable and cheaper, lst the mammoth is a little faster about the same in durability but the mammoth is way cheaper,tnx the mammoth is faster more durable, see the way i look at it the mammoth is the best allround truck out there

i just bought my first revo on sat. very pleased, not as fast as my savage(with an ofna .26 outlaw) but the truck definitly lives up to its name. there is nothing conventional about the truck other than the fact that it runs on methyl alcohol and nitrus.other than its subpar controller, it is (imo)much better than the lst. if i were u, id choose from the savage (which i also love) or the revo.

That is quite a brash statement there fastcrash, even if it is your opinion, it doesn't sound like an opinion based much on facts or direct comparison.

As for a truck to recommend to you based on what you've said, I'd have to recommend the Savage RTR. The Revo is normally not less than $450 anyways, unless it's from ebay or used or some other flaky deal. I've had little problems with my Savage, even though it was my first monster truck. It's a great truck.

well lets see, the revo comes with a tq-3 controller(just like the t maxx, and the Lst comes with a high end crystal less JR controller,which one would you prefer? its actually not my opinion , the Lst does come with a MUCH better controller.


and s7 europa, are opinions banned?all the comparison i did was remove the bodies at my lhs and check them out. if he wants a fair and balanced comparison, he should buy a damn magazine. and it doesent matter because the lst is closer to 600$ than his target price of 450.

Okay. I'll go raving around the forum saying the Revo is plain and utter crap.

Depending on the magazine, you'll find both biased and non-biased. RC Car Action, along with their sister publications are heavily Traxxas biased. I prefer RC Driver myself, no advertisements every other page. I suscribed when they were doing the $10 deal. :]
