Whoa!!!! Check out these Wheels n' Tires!
Well, went on a shopping spree today, and came across something i thought was quite special. Before my eyes were possibly the largest pair of bowtie copies, and dark grey wheels. I was freakin out. They were mine!!!! They are 99% the exact same size as the stock LST tire. They are lighter though. More wheel like the 40 series though. Looks like these are a 40 sereies'ish copy made for the real big trucks. Boy they are purrrdy...

Looks good! Real good... Probably be easier on the drivetrain too.
LOL at simulated 'field' action shot. Nice try. Wouldn't that thing be more at home on a shelf somewhere?

Yes, they are the hottest wheels n tires i've ever seen for BIG trucks. Im very pleased with all the products i've seen XTM bringing to the market. Very high quality. I would put them on the savage for pics, but cant do it til tomorrow. I was rebuilding my savage today and realized how worn my drive cups are. Im gonna pick up some HD's tomorrow, and get it back together. Then i can take some pics for ya. BT, when you goin back to Dirt burners?

I love the engine. Very smooth, very strong. It will eat up your diffs real fast. I have the 4 spider mod in the diffs now, and they seem fine. My tranny also took a dive when i first put the engine in. Since then i had replaced the 2 speed, and it was fine. Then my shift point started acting up. I believe the recent problems in the tranny are caused by some pre-mature wear that occurred the first time i broke the 2 speed mechanism. It was not a pretty sight. Should be all better now.

Yes, my LHS had several pairs of chrome. The dark grey just really appeal to me. Same color as the savage wheels i have.

Those are sooooo nice. Got a part number? And can you tell us if they are 14mm hex hubs or different for the LST?

The tires are Large Series #145512 Tires-BRT1
The wheels are Large Series #145521 Wheels-Thorn, Gunmetal
They are 14mm hex, which is the same as the savage, LST, MGT, maxx, etc.

Thanks. I thought the LST had bigger hubs for some reason.....
I'll have to wait for those to hit the auction scene, I can't swing nearly $100 for wheels and tires no matter how nice they are......

OK guys since I'm definately the resident XTM Fan Boy here is the info.
Link to pretty much the only online retailer: www.hobbypeople.net
Here is a link directly to the Large Series Tires and Wheels: http://www.hobbypeople.net/prdcls/carwormt10.asp
ThermalRD, not sure when I'll be back out, but hopefully soon gotta try a few new settings.

hmm, i might get some torsos and the wheels you have thermal as my next tire/wheel setup on my savage. how tough are those wheels? because i am running the sc-store adapters and outback welds with mashers and this setup is bullet proof!

RE: Whoa!!!! Check out these Wheels n' Tires!
Which wheels you referring to? The wheels i run on my savage (Q6, Dirt bonez)? Or those in the picture? Either way, the Q6 are the best wheels i've run on a savage. The park i go to and bash has this beautiful hill that i like to jump. I'll put it to ya this way. All the jumping lands on pavement. I have put these Q6 to the test, and i'll buy no other wheel for that size tire. Period. As far as those XTM wheels go, they look pretty, but i havent run em yet. Just been playing with the Revo. Those wheels look incredibly thick, and strong though. Sad to say it, but im about 99% sure my axles and cvd's are gonna break long before i ever break one of those wheels. In fact, the extra traction almost guarantees it.
