anybody use traxxas 33% is it good for break in period? on genesis

i would never use 33% on brake in. on any truck. i woul go with either 20% 0r 10% traxxas fuel i used both an they are very good. or use trinity monster brew 20% really goo fuel truck will start on first pull

if you are refering o me i had bad experience wth 30% fuel it snapped my crankshaft into 2 pieces, so i will never use 30% fuel in my life

u asked what kinda fuel you should be using, and i answered your question, what kinda fuel does your lhs carry

if you just want top fuel 33% becuase it looks cool then your buying fuel for the wrong reasons, but its all your lhs carries then thats cool, but iv personaly never seen someone take top fuel over fuels such as trinity or o'donell

damn,thats crazy im new to nitro trucks so im probally asking stupid questions,i just thought i would get the most power out of it
you probally know better than me..my truck is in transit..any suggestions on breaking the engine in

HI

It is not a good idea to break-in the engine with 33% fuel. You might just break the engine before you break-in the engine. Get a quart of 10, 15, or 20% fuel to break the engine in. Then if you still want to use 33% fuel go ahead. If you are going to use 33% fuel tho you will have to add one or two shims between the head, and the block of the engine too handel that kind of fuel.

Yeah I ran in my engine with 10%... cries for more fuel day by day.

I removed the shims from my M26 and replaced them with a .005 shim with 30% white lightning. runs like a champ!
