WASP 28 ROTO START PLATE
What backplate should I use on a Wasp 28 engine. Team orion advice me to use the same backplate fron The savage but the one way bearing is too big any advice. Do I need to change the blackplate and the one way bearing. That would not make any sense due to the expense

RE: WASP 28 ROTO START PLATE
So far as I know none fit the roto-start yet.
The engine is the same as the Fantom .27 so if that helps...try a search.
Thet say this one fits the Fantom .27 so you might look into it: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...80&FVPROFIL=++

RE: WASP 28 ROTO START PLATE
I have the Wasp .28 and I have used the rotostart off of my stock Savage .25 engine and I have had no problems with the rotostart. Itworked fine on my Wasp .26 and now works fine on my Wasp .28

All you need to make it fit is the stock one-way from the 25. I posted this info in the HPI side.... If you need a one-way there is an OFNA part number listed in the wasp28 thread for 9.99... that's the cheapest one-way that I know of and it holds up just as well as the HPI unit.
