here's the [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDVK7&P=ML]pipe[/link]. i just baught that pipe cause it was cheap but any .21 pipe will be better then the stock. i talked to a couple of guys that use a .21 pipe with the stock header and they gained low end torque, but when i used that pipe with a high volume header my torque gain was very noticable. i'll record a mpeg to show you guys with the pipe/header combo my tnx is bustin' wheelies for days.

it's a [link=http://www.crazynutracing.com/]crazynut[/link] racing heatsink. it's made for the cvrx but it'll fit the stock fs18. the only difference i saw was that the fs18 and the cvrx heatsink conforms around the top of the exposed piston sleeve. the crazynut heatsink does not so it sit directly on top of the exposed top portion of the sleeve. you'll notice a gap between the bottom of the heatsink and the engine wall but as long as the heads screwed on tight that gap means nothing. i hope you can picture what i'm sayin'

Ok....i'm not being funny here...or trolly...
because I want to get one of these...
But one question...

Why do all the TNX's look so boring?
Wheres all the different bodies....the bigger wheels...chrome rims etc...
are there not many hop up/dress up options available for this truck?

Because one thing i dislike about the TNX is the small diddy wheels/tires and low ground clearance.
Anyone got pix of bigger sets on a TNX?

tnx 4 life has some bigger tires still not huge like you want, the tnx is a race truck, it has small wheels and tires which are standard maxx size rims and low ground clearance cuz thats it race setup.

theres not alot of hop-ups out there, theres enough companies to make the whole truck aluminum but not by the same comp. not many people buy new bodies for this truck cuz the bodies that come stock are pretty kool.

- if you got bigger wheels/tires this thing wouldnt move that well, its a race bread truck, it doesnt have alot of torque, it has the power and thats mainly what it needs

want a new body... [link=http://www.pro-lineracing.com/proline.html]proline bodies[/link], any 1/10 or 1/8 scale body will fit. just needs a little cut here and a little cut there.
want bigger tires...[link=http://www.pro-lineracing.com/proline.html]proline tires[/link], [link=http://www.imexrc.com/TEMAXX_TIRES_NEW.htm]imex[/link]
want bling rims... [link=http://www.imexrc.com/TEMAXX_RIMS_NEW.htm]imex rims[/link], [link=http://www.pro-lineracing.com/proline.html]proline rims[/link]
everything else... [link=http://www.neweramodels.com/prod66_tamiya_tnx.htm?session_id=dljastsxcdupqxyht kamrdnumilxejll]NEM[/link], [link=http://www.etamiya.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=209_330]etamiya[/link], there's a really good one but i forgot to save the link...

so there you go... make your masterpeice and post some pics. i also agree that the stock tires look dinky... that's why i changed them. put some jumbo kongs on spinners and tell us how you like it. personally i like the way the tnx looks. if you want all the shiney bling stuff buy a tmaxx... they've got bling for every damn part of it

LMAO, Tmaxxes need every part to be aluminum for it to even stay in tact for 5 minutes...

In my opinion, if you wanna "dress something up" get a doll.

ScMc that very untrue, if you buy RPM plastic for the tmaxx it will hold up very long, even with stock plastic too

You're right, RPM plastic is better than stock, but just the design of the t-maxx suspesnion is horrible... Sure, the suspension is good, but it is VERY fragile, Why do you think RPM wont make t/e-maxx bulkheads? Because they know they can't make bulkheads that wont break, because the t-maxx bulkheads are a design flaw. The all aluminum comment was not to be taken totally seriously, but if a t-maxx is going to see some good bashing, its gonna need quite a bit of UE to not break anything.

not to cause a flame war or anything, but RPM doesnt make bulkheads because they make their A arms out of nylon, not plastic.

nylon bends a hell of a lot more than plastic, allowing you to crash and avoid damage because it bends away the stresses of the crash. if the bulkheads were the same material, your entire truck would flex when you hit something, or just drove it around. imagine the diffs being able to come loosened because now your bulkheads are bending like noodles and not holding down your diffs. you would be stripping diffs everytime you hit a bump.

Ow, I know. Right below the last post in a thread, there is a button that says "POST REPLY"...click that and it brings up a window. It should look exactly like the space where you usually type a reply, but in a different window. Now, right below the text box, there is a button that says Upload Pics!...click that, then browse for your pics. That will make it so you have the "click for full size" link under your thumb nail picture.
