Whats up with my temp gun?
Something is definitely wrong with my Duratrax Flashpoint. Every time I try to take a reading it exaggerates to an extreme! I pointed at my motor and it read 364 degrees, then at my hand and it read 126 degrees(I was freezing) although it's only 30 degrees outside!
Also, I know my motor wasn't running 364 degrees because I did the spit test and I never even boiled away.

the instructions mention something about switching the setting to read metal surfaces like the heatsink of an engine. try that.
