Default Battery pack for the controller?

I was wondering if there were battery packs for the controllers, I looked around tower for one but the name of it had me stumped. I'm sick of all the AA's I go through and worrying if they're still charged and I think it'd be worth it to invest in a controller pack.

they are a bit hard to find and are kind of pricy. what i did was buy a 9.6v pack at radio shack and i broke it apart and resoldered it into the shape i needed and wrapped it nice and neat in electrical tape. then i oldered on a conecter and was all set. i think a 9.6v 1800Mah pack is about $15.
