Default do you think spammers should be banned

here i want answered is do you think spammers that go into a traxxas forum and ask if the savage is better or vice versa with losi and hpi should be on a probationary ban, because im sick to the teeth coming on rcu and going yes loads of new posts to read up on our hobby and get useful hints only to find that there is questions of trucks and other queries in the wrong forum, i think rcu moderaters play a big part in this because i know im not the only one that is getting p'd off with it

help us out rcu tell the kids to go do their homework and use the search button to find answers because people are getting tired off it and i think it is your job to help us out here so we arent reading junk because that is all this site is turning to

so do you think the spammers shoul be put on a probationary ban because i think that they should?

I voted "No I enjoy reading the same thing over and over and over again" Just cuz I laughed when i saw it

But in all seriousness, I think a couple people on this board need to stop posting so much and actually think about how what they say will contribute to the forum before they click *scrolls down* "Ok".

If I responded three times in a row to the same thread I would have a big post count too.

I battled it out with that guy for at least 2 hours on that. Who posts crap about a HPI Savage in a Traxxas forum.... I mean really.... I'm definitely all for banning peeps that do crap like that.... They can do it on other websites...

Post count doesn't matter, shouldn't even be listed on forums IMO. Doesn't take long to figure what members to PM if you need good advice. These forums do have wicked repeat syndrome, I always assumed it was young peeps excited about a future purchase that really had little to no message board exp.

i dont feel like voting but no, doctors dont flip out and say "God, you're like the 5th person this week with a broken arm! Can't you look it up on the internet and fix it yourself?". These people are coming to you seeking help and advice and some of the more mature (older possibly?) heads here take the time to answer questions and help other people (redheat, binaryterror, thermalrd to name a few). the rest of you provide nothing and waste as much time and space as the people you're complaining about.

but you know, while we're complaining i'd like to complain about the fact that only about 6% of the posters in the car forums can use the following correctly: their, they're, there, to, too, two, your, you're, here, hear, who's, whose, affect, effect...you get the point. to those of you who cant i'd suggest that your parents spend less on your toy cars and more on your schooling because you're obviously picking up nothing.

The only thing that irritates me is the VS. threads, and the constant arguements over Savage/T-maxx/Revo.

I mean its simple, Savage ='s 1/8th scale T-maxx/Revo ='s 1/10 scale. It's like comparing apples to oranges, the two are completely different and therefore uncomparable.

Were you talking about me? I dont remember going into the LST forum...

If you're talking about mine and LSTGUY's fights over the "TNX vs LST" arguement, We are friends and were just messing around.

Yeh i agree with RC UK. If the person is new to the site they should be let off for not using the search button because they dont know any better. But if the person has a large number of post under there belt then something should be done about it like no being able to post for a couple of weeks maybe.
