Default NEWBIE needs help

ok ive had my Raptor MT for 3 days now and gone through 4-5 tanks..

today, i was putting more throttle, about 3/4.. did some crazy flips..

on one flip, it landed upside down, i put it back on the wheels and gave it some gas than the truck stalls..

i try to start it back up but i couldnt.. []

it idled for 10secs on first try and then thats it, it wouldnt fire up again..

i must have tried soo many times i got blisters on my hand.. i know its not the glow plug igniter cause i had another fully charged..

anyway how do you know when the glow plug is bad?? mine is all dark and black now.. this could be my problem[&o]

also for those who own a raptor, what is the factory setting for the rich/lean setting? the manual doesnt say []

also, this all happened on the 5th tank and the gas wasnt the same brand.. My LHS didnt carry the gas i had from my other RC car

well can you get it to start at all? could be your needle settings. when i was a noob i had some of the same problems so i went to my LHS and had him give it a tune up and showed me everything step by step. The lhs is not always the best way to go, but when your a beginner it helps a lot.

Make sure its not flooded. Prime the engine before you start it (put your finger on the exhaust tip and pull the pull start 3 - 5 times). Take your glow plug out, put it on the glow starter and make sure it lights up.

ok the glow plug was my problem, i went to LHS and bought 5 of em..

got the glow plug in and fired up on first try, now for some bashing!!

Now i have another problem, when it is idling sometimes the idle will increase all of a sudden and wants to GO..

also after giving it some gas and letting go, it takes a while for it to go back to idle or it will hold its throttle or throttle would even increase when im not doing anything to it.. why is this? is the battery going out? the lights on the controller say the batt is full soo i dont know..

i have a JR racing remote that is soo much nicer than the stock one so i will be going back to my LHS tommorow to pick up a JR racing receiver and a steering servo cause the stock one sucks *****

In my prp raptor, sometimes i found my filter in the tank is out of place and it make it run a little lean, so I just open the lid and try to put it in place. When I still have the original engine, I notice that the carb it went sticky, what i just do is apply some after run oil in it most after using the truck, even right now with a diff engine in it.
Some few thing as an advice on your raptor. check that front and rear diff. as it alway fall apart on mine, better to replace those tap screw with a fine tread screw, I used stainless type screw. Some of the plastic are so brittle unless you got the truck that was been upgrade those plastic parts already, just boil those plastic parts for about 20 min.
