Does anyone know BillWill. I paid him for a truck I bought off of him and cannot get an answer e-mailing him. I hope he isnt sick or hurt or anything but I still haven't received my truck yet and cannot get ahold of him.

Still have not heard from him. I dont want to give his real name, yet. I hope he is on vacation or something.

if he doesn't pay or refund the goods, there will be SOMEONE who lives nearby that might agree to pay him a little visit [8D]

Last e-mail I got from him (5-09), he had received my money order and said he was going to ship the truck out the next morning. I have been e-mailing him to let me know how he is shipping and to give me a tracking #. I am not trying to bad mouth the guy I just want to know what is going on. I realize if it was sent parcel post it could take awhile but, he is in Savannah, Ga and I am in north east Al. Thats 2 days if shipped UPS and this is going on the 11th day since I heard from Him last. I have his address and it does check out with his name. I paid him $185 for a Monster GT. Its a good deal if I get a truck.

11 days with no reply is sounding pretty shady.... DO you have his phone number? try the online white pages and see if he's listed. Someone will have to answer the phone, even if he is in hospital. His puter may be broken or something, but his phone probably works.

I cant get a listed phone # on him. That was my 1st mistake. I'll never buy anything again without actually talking to the owner. This guy had 4 classified ads that had been listed by him in the past with no complaints about him, but if I ever buy anything over the internet again it will be from someone who has a lot of posts on whatever forum and at least 2 or 3 people can vouch that they have dealt with them and they are honest. I have sold a few things over the internet but this is my first time buying. I couldnt imagine ever rippin somebody off this way. Especially having to live with the fact that the person you ripped off is only a 6hr drive away from ya. If he does come thru on this deal I will gladly post how wrong I was and clear his name but at this point I have lost faith in him. The deal seemed alright, he provided additional pics of the truck, responded to any e-mails and answered any questions I had. What I cant figure out is, if he is ripping me off, why would he admit to getting my money? Kind of like, hey I got your money whatcha going to do about. Honestly its not the money its the principle of the thing I hate a theif.

That sucks man. Hopefully, he does come through. The first thing that I would have checked out is that he's a new user (joined Jan.5), and has 0 posts other than the classifieds. I always get an address and phone #, and cross reference them with the white pages. ebay feedback is also a useful reference, but obviously, they could give you someone elses account name. Did you search the address? If it comes up as a PO box, you're screwed...

I did see he was a new user, so am I, but you're right 0 posts so nobody knows him. His address is an actual house, got directions right to it. Its weird though the more I find out on this guy, he seems like a well off, decent and intelligent person who wouldn't need or bother rippin somebody for 185 bucks.

If he doesn't come through, round up a few friends and pay him a visit the next time that you have a day to burn.
