Hey guys im going to buy a traxxas revo this summer i really like it but anyways i have heard that the stock engine the trx 2.5r is a piece of crap so i was wondering if i dont like it what engine i should get that will drop into the revo i have heard that they make conversion kits for the revo to put a 25 or what ever in but i just want one that will drop in thanks

Ya, the TRX 2.5 is well ... not good. I suggest getting the big block conversion kit and drop in a collari .30 or a wasp .26

I like the stock 2.5r its not a bad engine at all. It is a bit picky to tune but once its dialed its got plenty of power and torque. Try it out see for yourself weather you think it is junk or not....if you like it....then you can use the money for other hop-ups. If not....I know alot of people recommend the OS.18 TM which is a direct drop in.

The RB TM323 has lots of power, it comes with a pipe and is a direct fit, all for $230 bucks! !

i put a XTM 24.7 in mine. that's out of control enough for me. i have never seen the RB run so no comment. read lots of good things though. if you can afford it jump on that one

do some research on the 24.7 PRO... i've read it's better than the 24.7

I had a P2 in my Tmaxx--(Ofna .21 small block direct fit engine at 2.38 HP) it will wheelie all day and everyday..lol I never raced it
