Default New body for Binary Terror... Again...

Since Jake had to go and order the extended Revo chassis, he needed another body. So this will all look quite familiar... So i hunted down a Jconcepts lid Friday, and got it ready for some paint.

This time theres a little spin on things.... A hood design!

I also put a little different design on the truck. Not too different, but you'll notice it im sure.

Some color!

And the hood design i showed you earlier, is now revisited. This pic shows the trim already done.

Jake, if ya dont like it... Too F'n bad! lol

why did you paint on the outside? it looks terrible and it will scratch and chip VERY easily.

That looks way wicked cool! Damn nice job. You should be proud! You should also start thinking about selling bodies on eBay. I've seen bodies sell for $80 - $100 that didn't look near that nice. If you were to show up at one of our club races with some bodies of that craftsmanship, you would have no problem selling them for top dollar.
Even better, you should look into setting up an E-store. You really do have quite a gift there!!!

Thanks for the kind words guys. They mean alot to me. I left my art work in my past years ago. And i've just gotten back into it. If i ever find an airbrush that will allow me to free hand as well as i draw, then i'll show you some really nice art work. I've got some wicked designs im going to try out, and im getting alot of my hand control back. My work will get alot cleaner, and alot better from here on out. I've only recently become happy enough with my work to actually sell it. So my close racing friends get hooked up with paint work. I've got 2 bodies im doing for Noreaga, a body for Elite, and a body my son just requested with some World Industries graphics, and Flame boy painted on it. So in about 2-3 weeks those should all be done. Then i'll be able to do some more.

It was my choice of the clover...just like that stuff, plus that one has a cool outline of the tribal-esque, and it's flash from one of my favorite Tatoo Artists. Why not a 4 leaf? why not a 3? Plus I can use all the luck to beat ThermalRD when I'm racing.

And I'll say up close Matt's body looks amazing too...they aren't just far away good looking bodies. I think his quality is way up there and getting better....

I'm curious, have you tried brush painting? I wouldn't do it for large areas, but I'd bet you could get some lines and smaller areas that could have some really nice detail and effects.
