Bashing? Any driving outside of the tack basically. Check out some of the videos from Jefx. He bashes, and has some great videos of the LST, and MGT in action. For the price range you are at, i'd reccomend the MGT if you want something right now. I would also recommend checking out the upcoming Duratrax warhead. Its real close to release, and tower has it listed at 399. With Tower codes, you'll be under 400 for that truck. You could probably also get a real nice savage just over 400. They have set the standard for durability, and are extremely popular among bashers.

The Mammoth ST is now selling for $339 at Hobby People and at Tower. That looks like the way to go IMO. Especially if you are in Cali or Vegas and have direct access to a Hobby People store.

If you are thinking about getting the mgt either wait for the 4.6 version or get the proline "rock" edition over here in the uk you can get the rock edition for £10 more than the origonal!! thats like $5 in USD!! plus you get an awesome shock and spring setup with a decent hummer sut body and some dirt hawgs on velocity rims!

£10 is more like $20 USD. I went to Londaon a few years ago and that exchange rate KILLED me!!

the 2.5 in the t-maxx is a .15 engine. the tnx has 4wd but no reverse. i have an mgt and i say buy the mgt coming out in september. there are some weak points though, but none of really major concern. the mgt with the .21 is great, so the new one with the .28 should be awesome.

the 18 engine is one of the most reliable engines I have owned tons of power it literally pull wheeelies without a problem and is one of the fastest trucks in the marked. Its 1/8 scale truck bigger then the savage maybe the mgt, very tough it handles some heavy beating with no problems . I strongly recommend this truck.

You actually need a bigger bodies to fit the tnx but no problem their proline has made some sweet bodies . I think maybe the mgt might be a littleee bit bigger then the tnx I am not shoure. But is alot more faster then the savage when it comes from start to end.Torqhe is where the savage wins but it needs it since it ways alot compared to the Tnx. All maxxsize tires fits the tnx. Never heard owners talking bad about the tnx, that says alot how good this truck is. Youn should visit tamiyatrucks.com and you ll get alot of info videos and pictures.

what he ^^^^ said.

Im not gonna recommend my truck since i have nothing to compare it 2. But i do like my Truck. But since im a newbie i sort of mistreated my engine(i dont know how) and i have a wierd its dead. It got up to 343,5 F yesterday. and it was running like poop. But i havent broken anything else on the truck. Nothing major. just the wear and tear parts 8)
