hey all - whats the most quiet/best build quality monster truck out there? i was thinking revo, but i dont really know.

THe Revo is quiet for a Nitro... if you really want quiet... get an electric. LOL

yeah im getting a rustler, but i just wanted to see what "quiet" nitros are on the market. are there mufflers for the car engines? i know planes have them, dunno bout cars.

they have pipes... and to keep the power of 'em... you wanna keep 'em "tuned"... some of the bigger engines have louder pipes..

whats with you people and wanting your nitro's to be "quiet"? It's one of the best parts hearing that engine scream! hell, i try to make mine louder! But the quietest i have ever heard are stadium trucks. I dont believe there is such thing as a quiet monster truck...

yeah thats my #1 on my christmas list, but alas, batteries run out rather quickly.

well, some of us have neighbors and no where else within walking distance to run a loud machine...

That would be me... I have many neighbors... but my Nitro R/C doesn't bother 'em... it's no louder than a weedwhacker... or a lawnmower... I run it up and down my street, and no one can hear it... I get bored with that, so... I put the stuff in my truck and go find a place to run... *shrug* if you're that worried... Nitro R/C isn't for you.
