Well in 1 minute and 30 sec dead I destroyed the EMAXX today. I took it home in 4 large pieces. 4 broken bulkheads, 2 broken A arms, 1 body mount, 2 shock mounts, 2 tie rod ends, 1GP3300 battery pack and the front skid. Im not very happy but it was one heck of a wreck.
I bash hard and have been playing with RC's for a very long time. With that being said, anyone can make a mistake. I jumped a wall in a high school parking lot. I was aiming for a nice clean landing on the grass but didnt make it and nailed the curb.
TOTAL DESTRUCTION!
I am thinking of buying one of those Aluminum T/E-Maxx Super Skeleton Package from ACNCM. Anyone have one? Any opinions?
IM trying to figure what to do. I like the fact that the ACNCM looks complete and built very strong (and I need it cause I am very hard on my maxx). Then I love the gorillamaxx stuff cause it looks like a work of art.
So for about the same money I could get:
ACNCM super chassis or
Gorillamax chassis plus all the RPM suspension parts, aluminum bulkheads and skids.
Any ideas on whats the better set up? I do like the RPM warranty... I need it

RPM suspension arms and aluminium bulkheads are good, but go with titanium skids so you won't end up with a ton of trashed aluminium skids. The stock chassis is pretty tough, so you might want to keep it if it's still in one piece.

Well I decided on what upgrade path to take. Here is what I ordered:
Gmaxx chassis
ACNCM bulkheads
RPM A-arms
RPM bearing carriers
RPM shock towers
RPM long body mounts (I prefer the SUV style body's)
Proline steering kit
Duratrax alloy skids
Proline powerstroke shocks
Yes with the money I just spent I could of bought a spare emaxx! I must be crazy 'cause I remember saying I would never spend more on upgrades than the original purchase price....
