Default RC in Winter?

Would it ruin a nitro truck if you ran it in the cold WITHOUT snow being outside?

I have never had problems... But it does not get quite as cold in Dallas as it does in Chicago... That is why I moved back down south from Chicago!!!
I have had my trucks out as cold as in the 40s and never had issues... just made sure I adjusted the tune on the motor to suit the temps...

runs just as good in the cold as the heat... Just have to tune for the weather.. richen the high speed needle a bit to compensate for the denser air... Make sure engine is warmed up completely before doing any tuning.. You may have to warm the head before starting with a hairdryer or car heater or the engine may not want to start... Also, remember that the cold weather makes plastic parts brittle.. so go easy on the jumps because the ground is hard like concrete and parts may break easier.. I run all my trucks in the cold weather and never have problems.. other than my hands freezing because of no gloves..

I think the snow is almost funner than in the summer. I stud my tires and go out on the ice. And for warm up, I usually start my truck inside and let it warm up before going out in the snow. Ever seen a nitro truck to a backflip off a coffee table? (pisses the roomates off)[>:]

It won't ruin anything, it's just harder to start and tune the engine (and easier to break parts). However, You should Plasti-Dip the servos if you want to run in the snow.
