Genesis owns the bashing segment. The biggest and most tourqe. Crawls through almost anything. And yes, it's substantially bigger than a losi LST. Any objections???

Cen Genesis has another segment mastered too- it has the only body designed by a 'special needs' third grade class. CEN Genesis body gets the 'Yes, I am sure that Marijuana is for Medical Reasons....' award.

Best MT RTR Body Ever? The Limited MGT Flag Body gets that award. That IMO is and will be one of the best RTR bodies ever.

Genesis also owns the 'Hardest to get parts for at the LHS' segment. I go into my LHS asking about Genesis parts, it gets so quiet, you can hear crickets chirping.

I gotta disagree here. I can order Genesis parts any day of the week, and the distributors actually have them. Try buying TNX parts at your LHS... Specifically the individually packaged TRF suspension parts, or the individual spur gears.

Touche! I can't argue with that one. It all depends on where you live and what models your LHS supports. None of my LHSs even have parts catalogs.

Yeah man, Both the track i race at and my LHS can get Genesis parts, and I can have them sent from Offshoreelectrics.com in 3 days. So it must be where you live. I mean I cannot gets parts locally, but I never hardly break anything on the genesis. Tough as nails. Yeah, the stock body looks stupid, but here's what a "Real" Genesis F-650 Looks like, sorry for the redundant pic, it's posted everywhere, almost Great truck, not for the beginner.

I know, but with a little luck, I hope they start to resort to here, if this thread becomes active enough.

You may be surprised at how that changes soon. Horizon Hobby has picked up Cen Racing. So soon parts availability will be as easy as Losi. Even if the LHS doesn't have it in stock, a quick order will get it. I think this will greatly affect this Cen "downside".

As far as body designs go, the MGT flag body is nice, but it's never been one of my favorites. Not enough colors IMO. I prefer the Revo and T-Maxx 2.5 bodies more myself. The flag theme has been done so over-the-top by some airbrushers out there, that the MGT version seems too tame to me. Of course body looks is more of a subjective opinion though.

Please people! It was named Truck of the Year 2005 for a reason! The LST rules the MT market. The LST2 solidifies their headlock on those other girlie toys.

Yep... and the Revo was named Truck of the year 2004 for a reason, too. LOL

I used to watch Hulk Hogan wrestle about 25 years ago... He's no youngin. The guy has to be over 50. Who is Barry Horowitz?

HUH? The LST's technology is older than the Revo... the LST uses the same suspension platform as all other MT's.. upright shocks... connected directly to the A-arms... and mounted on shock towers... (it just has bigger ones).... The Revo has F-1 inspired cantilever suspension... the only one in the entire MT class... The LST2 is the same truck as the LST, except with all the "problems" fixed... and in a more race-worthy package. Newer technology? Nope.

Hogan's always the champ. Horowitz had the longest losing streak in WWF history. It was quite comical.

I know I'm gonna kick myself later for replying to this thread but..........

The XTM X-factor has been around for a while and if that's not linked/cantilever suspension I don't know what is....

LOL... yes, it has a cantilever suspension... HOWEVER the Revo does not have a "linked" suspension.... and the X-factor doesn't have inboard shocks. There is a difference in the suspension. The Revo has the F-1 inspired, inboard-shocks... along with the independent suspension... C'mon 2D, I'd expect more of an intelligent comment from you... You know that there is a HUGE difference between the Revo's suspension and the X-factor's. Independent suspension trucks are almost all the same (other than the Revo, due to the inboard shock/cantilever setup) This "technologically advanced" conversation is getting pretty tired... the LST is great, but the technology is not new... perhaps it has a cool chassis... but the technology other than that is pretty old. PLUS, the Revo is a newer design than the LST... I think he was trying to get the point that the LST2 is a new truck... which it really isn't... it's just a beefed-up LST (with an ugly body, I might add... LOL) Don't get me wrong, I like the LST, but to say that it's got "newer technology" than the Revo is completely false, and you know it.

The synthesized FM radio would seem more advanced to me than the one that came with all my Tmaxx stuff and your Revo...

I can't recall any other monster trucks prior that came with 6 CVD drive train? Can you??
