Default Just bought an LST2 to challenge my REVO and T-Maxx

I have entirely too much time on my hands it would appear.

I could'nt pass up the price, $525 new in the box. Score

Will post feedback when I get this sucker.

Now I like the start of this post way better then the usual "what should I buy" post from all these indesisive panny waist girls on here that bash RC . "Just baught" in the title. More posts should be like this. Dude you have 3 GREAT trucks. All serve there purpose. Let us know how you like the LST2! I really dig my MLST!!!

The engine is started by a spin start. A battery operated drill like starter that turns over the engine.

I did not like the E-Z start. The last thing I need on my racer is ANOTHER piece of electronics that has a chance to fail. Solder joints, and electronics in general are somewhat fragile. Most people may have no problem with it, but I am an unlucky SOB. Murphy follows me around like a shadow, so I take every step I can to avoid him. Besides, it adds weight. For racing, the object is to have the best power to weight ratio. Most racers I know take the E-Z start off their Revo's, then put in an OS 18.

To be perfectly honest, I really didn't find the spin starter/glow ignitor combo to be more inconvenient thant the E Z starter anyway. That wire that goes on the glow plug gets messed up pretty quick after changing and/or checking your glow plug often. 6 of one, half dozen of the other in my book.

diggs, the rotostarter is a black thing with a blue hand strap. It should come with the LST 2. If you must use a cordless drill, set the torque limiter to like 6 or 7, otherwise you make destroy the rotostart like me

LOL... well, considering I AM Murphy... (my last name)... he doesn't follow me around as much as you... LOL... I love the EZ-start, however I have had some wires break, and such... but they're an easy fix.

I'd say the only real downside of the EZ start is that it's more expensive to replace than just a glow ignitor. Of course that new bump starter for the Revo makes the whole point moot!

Yeah Man, thats what I call RC! No better feeling that seeing your truck fly 12 feet through the air.

Well its a good feeling if it lands and keeps going!
